Uma história de sucesso em Cambridge
Em 2002, a AT&T fechou seu laboratório de pesquisa em Cambridge, no Reino Unido, antes conhecido como Olivetti Research Laboratory, encerrando uma colaboração produtiva de uma década com o mundialmente famoso laboratório de computação da Universidade de Cambridge.
Nossos fundadores, os inventores originais do VNC, formaram imediatamente a RealVNC para aproveitar o enorme apelo popular do VNC dentro da comunidade de software livre e o crescente apetite comercial por software de acesso remoto de nível empresarial.

Henry Seddon
Chief Executive Officer
Henry is an accomplished leader with over 25 years of experience in various leadership roles at many of the world’s most innovative growth technology companies, across industries including Financial Services, CRM, Human Resources, Engineering, Analytics and Security. He has an impressive track record of growing, launching and restructuring businesses within the technology industry.
Henry is passionate about developing high-performing cultures, focusing on supporting customers throughout their journey. By doing this, he has delivered exceptional outcomes for customers, employees, and investors throughout his career. His core expertise drives growth through technical innovation, acquisition, and expansion into new markets. This makes him ideally placed to lead the next growth phase with us at RealVNC.
In his previous role, Henry was responsible for the Hospitality division within the Access Group, which he grew organically and through acquisition from £8m ARR to £125m ARR, adding 9 acquisitions, 500 employees, and tens of thousands of customers, making Access the UKs largest hospitality tech provider. He also previously held leadership roles at Duo Security, Qliktech, Peoplesoft, and Oracle.

Gavin Lyons
Executive Chair
Gavin has had a distinguished career over 25 years in the TMT sector specialising in software and services. Gavin has experience of running both public and privately owned growth-oriented companies and has been a plural chair working with multiple Private Equiity backed businesses since 2022.
Prior to becoming a plural Chair, Gavin was the co-founder and CEO for Tax Systems, a leading provider of corporation tax software backed by Bowmark Capital. He has also been an operating partner at MXC Capital, the tech-focused merchant bank in London, CEO at Accumuli, an AIM listed cybersecurity business, Director of Telecoms and Utilities at SAP and Vice President of Sales and Alliances at Trend Micro, a global data and cybersecurity business.
Gavin has overseen 5x exits for shareholders and holds an MBA from Henley Business School, awarded in 2005.

Tristan Richardson
With a BA in Computer Science from Cambridge and an MPhil in Computer Speech and Language Processing, Tristan Richardson joined the AT&T Cambridge Laboratory and worked on the protocols which underlie VNC. He was the principal architect of the system, having designed the protocols and written reference implementations for UNIX and Java. He continues to work in the business today.Senior Leadership Team

Neil Gad
Chief Product & Technology Officer
Neil has 20 years’ experience in technology, commercial and operations roles, Neil was appointed to the role of Chief Product & Technology Officer to define and deliver RealVNC’s product vision.
Neil has a background in strategy consulting from BCG and PwC, leading value creation programmes and supporting M&A deals across TMT and many other sectors. He has since led tech functions in both large corporates and startups, with a proven track record of delivery build on creating winning teams that collaborate effectively and focus on customer value.
Neil holds an MEng in mechanical engineering from Cardiff University, graduating with 1st class honours, and more recently is self-taught in python to build deep learning models for forecasting applications.

Kirsty Charlton
VP Revenue Operations
Kirsty joins to lead Revenue Operations at RealVNC. After starting her career as a scientist, Kirsty worked across various software commercial functions before finding her passion in Revenue Operations. She brings experience of leading Rev Ops teams to improve collaboration, drive efficiencies, and scale processes in rapidly growing SaaS companies. When not talking process or systems she can be found either enjoying all that London has to offer or walking her Labrador.
