Assistant Management Accountant

Reporting to the Finance Director, this role offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Assistant Management Accountant to work for an already successful, globally recognised technology company. You will be responsible for the provision of high quality finance support and financial information to key stakeholders. To achieve this, your responsibilities will include ensuring all ledger postings are accurate, preparing management accounts including accruals and prepayments, and assisting with the annual audit preparation.
You’ll also be responsible for the Purchase Ledger, including reconciliation and input of banks accounts, credit cards, petty cash, daily banking and managing payroll with our external provider. In addition to the operational and other ad hoc finance responsibilities this role offers excellent scope for personal growth and professional development.
- All aspects of purchasing and Purchase Ledger
- Cover for Sales Ledger where required
- Responsibility for Payroll / P11Ds / PSA
- Banking to include reconciling online payments in a multi-currency environment
- Cash flow forecasting
- VAT returns
- Preparation of monthly Management Accounts and analysis of variances
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Ad hoc analysis and reporting
