Supported platforms for VNC Connect

This page lists supported platforms for VNC Connect (version 6+).

Nota

For supported platform information for VNC 5.x, including a range of UNIX and legacy platforms not supported by VNC Connect, visit this page.

VNC Connect, for computers you want to control

If you purchase device access, you must download VNC Connect to every computer you want to control, and install and license it. VNC Connect contains a principal application called VNC Server, plus supporting programs.

Nota

There’s no need to download VNC Connect if you only purchase instant support. You just need VNC Viewer.

VNC Viewer, for devices you want to control from

For both device access and instant support, you must download VNC Viewer to every computer or mobile device you want to exercise control from. VNC Viewer is freely available for anyone to use, and there’s no need to license it.
