Sales Development Representative

Are you a bright, dynamic, and driven individual, looking for a way into software sales?

6 month fixed term contract with potential for permanent role. Basic: £18-20k (OTE £22-24k) + benefits 

The company

RealVNC® is a highly successful software company based in Cambridge (UK) city centre. As the original developers of VNC® remote access technology our software is used by hundreds of millions of users worldwide from the non-technical home user to IT professionals from global companies, such as Intel, IBM, NASA, Shell, DreamWorks and Philips.

The role

As a Sales Development Rep you’ll be responsible for engaging warm leads and existing contacts, with the aim of qualifying sales opportunities.  You will be required to book product demonstrations, arrange video conference meetings and set up calls for the Software Sales Team.

You’ll be directly responsible for research and initial discovery calls in line with the team of the Software Sales staff you’ll support.  You’ll become intimately knowledgeable about prospects key business challenges, and tailor insights that challenge their status quo.

You will be a key member of the Team responsible for qualification standards, as you rapidly develop your sales and prospecting skills to drive new business growth.
