Customer Success Executive
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Customer Success Executive to join our successful and expanding team at RealVNC.
RealVNC® is a highly successful software company based in Cambridge (UK) city centre. As the original developers of VNC® remote access technology our software is used by hundreds of millions of users worldwide from the non-technical home user to IT professionals from global companies, such as Intel, IBM, NASA, Shell, DreamWorks and Philips.
Due to our expanding product range and ever increasing global demand for VNC software we are currently seeking a Customer Success Executive to join our growing Sales team. Reporting to the Sales Manager this role offers superb opportunities for personal and professional development whilst working with an already successful global brand. If successful, you’ll be responsible for helping our customers maximise the value they get from our products and services with a view to securing extended subscription renewals and growing the utilisation of the services they have purchased.
Working within the sales team, you’ll be the first point of contact for product/account related enquiries for all VNC Connect subscription customers. Responsibilities will include providing product on-boarding support, account management, new product introduction and training, and subscription renewal administration.
This is a quota carrying role requiring you to build professional relationships with customer stakeholders in order to increase the size of the account and secure subscription renewals. This will be achieved through new feature/product demonstrations, cross selling and upselling, referral generation, and leveraging references and case studies. You will work closely with the sales, support, product and finance teams to ensure we deliver a first-class customer service for every customer.
As a customer advocate you will also always be collecting and recording detailed customer insights and information, for the purposes of helping RealVNC improve our services and build products that delight.
- have outstanding interpersonal, communication and listening skills
- have a polite, friendly and confident telephone manner, and can use this to obtain a positive outcome when speaking to customers
- are confident speaking with, and presenting to, clients up to Director level
- are well organised, attentive to detail and thorough, even under pressure
- have initiative and self-motivation
- are computer confident with experience of using programs including Microsoft Office and Outlook
- have excellent oral and written communication skills
- have a passionate interest in technology
- are educated to A level or equivalent
Previous customer success / account development / technology sales experience essential.

This is a full-time post, but we believe in a healthy work/life balance, so it’s 35 hours per week (Monday-Friday) on a 10am-9pm shift rota, although flexibility may sometimes be required.
