Different organizations will have different needs when it comes to remote access.<\/p><p>The list of suggestions below, while non-exhaustive, should help get you started. We decided to split it into three categories:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Essentials<\/strong> &#8211; things a remote access solution should under no circumstances be without.<\/li><li><strong>Nice to have<\/strong> &#8211; features you could live without if absolutely necessary; however, their presence would make your life easier.<\/li><li><strong>Future features<\/strong> &#8211; things possibly on the vendor&#8217;s roadmap, that could be helpful in the future. This includes end-to-end encryption of your data, without even the vendor able to decrypt it. Multifactor authentication needs to be the norm, with robust authentication options. Essentially, you shouldn&#8217;t need to trust the vendor to be able to trust the software and services.<\/p><p>Also, a solution isn&#8217;t secure because the vendor says it is. They should be able to show you the results of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realvnc.com\/en\/blog\/cure53-security-audit-reaffirms-realvnc-strong-security-stance\/\">white box security audits<\/a> and penetration tests, as well as an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realvnc.com\/en\/blog\/realvnc-iso27001-certification-what-it-is-why-it-matters\/\">ISO certification<\/a>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ad7d3f3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"ad7d3f3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Fast, reliable and stable connections<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a9e73a8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a9e73a8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>This should go without saying.
