Principal platforms (VNC Connect)¶
VNC Connect 6+ is available to provide remote access to all the principal platforms listed in the table below.
You only need download, install and license VNC Connect on remote computers if you have device access; see the table below for download links. With an Enterprise subscription, remote deployment and licensing options are available. For Home and Professional, you must make a desk-side visit.
If you only provide instant support, there’s no software to install on remote computers, and no need to download VNC Connect at all. You only need download VNC Viewer.
For both device access and instant support, you must download VNC Viewer to each device you want to control from. VNC Viewer is available for the same range of desktop platforms as VNC Connect, and also for iOS and Android. It does not require a license.

Legacy platforms (VNC 5.x)¶
If you have a valid Enterprise subscription for VNC Connect that includes device access, you are entitled to download, install and license our old VNC 5.x software on legacy platforms; see the table below for download links. This might be useful if you need to provide remote access to systems that do not support VNC Connect. Note you can only establish direct connections from the latest version of VNC Viewer; cloud connectivity is not available.
A license key for VNC 5.x is available from the Deployment page of your RealVNC account.
