Do I require a license key to use VNC Viewer Plus?

You require a license key in order to use VNC Viewer Plus to make connections to supported computers with Intel® Core™ vPro™ technology.

You do not require a license key to use VNC Viewer Plus to make standard VNC connections to computers running VNC Enterprise Edition, VNC Personal Edition, VNC Free Edition, or VNC-compatible Server technology from a third party.

How many license keys do I require?

You require one license key per installation of VNC Viewer Plus in order to make connections to AMT Server.

How long is my license key valid for?

A VNC Viewer Plus license is perpetual, meaning that it can continue to be used with the original software for as long as is required.

How long is my basic support agreement valid for?

The basic support agreement, including free upgrades as they become available, runs for a period of 12 months from the date of issue of the accompanying license key. Upgrades released after this 12 month period has elapsed will not be available unless the basic support agreement has been renewed and a replacement license key issued.

How do I get a 90 day trial license key?

When you install VNC Viewer Plus, click the 90 Day Trial button:

How do I enter a new license key?

When you install VNC Viewer Plus, you are prompted to enter a license key. This can either be a full license key, or you can apply for a 90 day trial license key (see dialog above).

If you need to enter a license key after VNC Viewer Plus is installed, select RealVNC > Advanced > Enter VNC Viewer Plus License Key from the Start menu (under Windows XP). You may need to do this if you are replacing a trial license key with a full license key, for example.

A newly-entered license key takes immediate effect.
