VNC® Enterprise Edition Patch
VNC Enterprise Edition E4.4.4 patches a local privilege escalation vulnerability in VNC Server in Service-Mode.
The vulnerability may potentially be exploited by a user to gain more privileged access to the VNC Server host system than might otherwise be the case. To do this the user must already have access to the console of the host system. The issue cannot be exploited to remotely access a system that would otherwise be inaccessible.
There are no known exploits at this time. As a precaution, please update your VNC Server for Windows to this version, particularly if you use VNC Server in Service-Mode.
Any license key for Enterprise Edition 4.4.0 or later will be valid with this patched version.
