HP-UX Installation and Removal Instructions
Using the Packaged Binaries
You will need to be root, or a user with equivalent permissions, to install or remove the software.
Installation:
Use the swinstall to install the software. The exact
command depends on the version you have downloaded; for example, to
install version 4.4.0, you would download the depot and run the
following command:
swinstall -s /download/vnc-E4_4_0-parisc_hpux.depot vnc-E |
The above is an example only. You will need to substitute the absolute path of the depot file you have download.
Removal:
Use the swremove command to remove the software, as
follows:
swremove vnc-E |
