VNC and 64 bit RHEL5

Hello,

I am trying RealVNC version 4.4.3 under the 64bit version of RedHat Enterprise
Linux 5.

Starting the vncserver and creating a vnc password works fine. At least
without error messages or warnings.
However, when I try to start the VNCviewer, I receive the message that the
username or password is not correct.

I did this try with password like 123456.

Did I forget something or is there something wrong?
