nevermind... did figure it out more or less:
to disable logging in vnc, need to create a registry entry in hklm/
software/realvnc/winvnc4/ and create a string value called "Log" and
use the parameters that can be found in the -help (I.E. *:file:0)
this has stopped messages from going to the event log. though i don;t
know where the logfile is actually located. either way, pretty sure
since it's set to 0 it won't talk much.
can always remove the registry value if you want to go back...
if there's a better way, or a better explanation, feel free to
contribute.
