cannot connect

hello guys,


i'm trying to connect my iphone to my laptop which is running on a wireless
network at home.

i can use realvnc to connect through the local network, but i can't connect
through an outside network.

i have two configurations - 1, for local (192.168.1.100 - address of laptop
from the router), and 2, for outside network, (my ip address).

1, works, 2 does not.

i get the "The IP address requesting this web page is xx.xx.xxx.xxx
(REMOTE_ADDR)

Connecting to port 5900 ... failed: connection timed out"

can you please advice?

i've followed all the proper port forwarding procedures, as well, as read all
the troubleshooting on your website.  i still can't find where the problem
is?
