I had the same problem, in reverse. You will need to run RealVNC
Server in "User" mode on the Vista machine. I found this won't
auto-load on start-up so I run it manually each time I boot up.

Kind regards

Bill

Subject: Can't connect to vista from xp

I have XP installed on my desktop and Vista on my laptop. I can
connect to
my desktop from my laptop without any problems, but i cant get from my
desktop to my laptop. Ive disabled all the firewalls but it still
doesnt
work. Anyone have any ideas why this would be?
