Hello,
How do I enable a range of X sizes with my XRandR extension for Xvnc?
With the XRandR extension installed I'm able to rotate and invert the
screen, but apparently not resize. Also, the KDE app krandrtray doesn't run.
I see from some Internet postings that people have ranges of screen
resolutions available using XRandR. Example:
http://www.happyassassin.net/2007/02/06/randr-12-mode-and-display-switching-f
or-intel-graphics-chipsets/
He has:
[adamw "at" lenovo ~]$ xrandr
Screen 0: minimum 320 x 240, current 1680 x 1050, maximum 1680 x 1200
VGA connected 1680W1050+0+0 (normal left inverted right) 433mm x 271mm
But I have:
$ xrandr -v -q
Server reports RandR version 1.1
SZ: Pixels Physical Refresh
*0 800 x 600 ( 75mm x 75mm ) *0
Current rotation - normal
Current reflection - none
Rotations possible - normal left inverted right
Reflections possible - none
$ cat .vnc/<hostname>:2.log

So I guess another question is where is XRandR getting it's list of available
sizes from?
Thanks!
