VNC for Google Android Phones

Hi, I'm a SF Bay developer working on a VNC Viewer
project for google Android.  I notice the RealVNC
viewer allows use of the codebase for other free VNC
viewer applications and was letting everyone know that
I am starting from the RealVNC viewer codebase to
produce a working VNC viewer for Android.

While I understand the security for the Android
console itself, I am unsure if a VNC connection going
over cellular networks has other security issues that
I am not aware of, or will it be the same as
connecting through any other TCP/IP connection over
the internet.
