For easy remote demoing of a (web) application, I'm looking for VNC
software with the following features:
* The connection should be encrypted, if possible.
* The client should be very easy to install, on Windows systems, on
MACs, and on LINUX systems. Furthermore, the client should be
available free of charge.
* The server must be able to run on an i386 UNIX (LINUX, FreeBSD,
whatever).
* Shared connections should be possible.
Any idea what software meets my demands?
I guess that TightVNC may be an option, if I go without encryption.
TightVNC via SSH would be too hard to set up on the client side, for
people who don't know that technology. I also had a look at RealVNC
Server Edition. However, it doesn't seem to be for me: The client is
not free (if encryption is needed), and the Personal edition only runs
on Windows.
