Failed to connect: connection refused (10061)

Greetings all!

If its not one thing its something else haha! First, I want to thank you all
again for your help previously.

Im still having difficulties trying to connect to my mac (OS X) using my XP
machine. I am now receiving an error that says "Failed to connect:
connection refused (10061)". I checked to make sure that the ports are both
set to 5900 and they are.

I tried to telnet port 5900 from my mac and it was unreachable. Im pretty
new to this, so does that mean that 5900 is disabled? If so, how do I
re-enable it?

Just throwing it out there, I can get into my XP machine via my Mac however.

Any thoughts? Thanks again in advance!
