Free Edition working with Vista

We are trying to get into a vista box using the free edition of VNC.  We can
get out but everytime we try to get in we get an error stating that the
connection closed unexpectedly, or another error stating "read: Connection
reset by peer(10054)"

 

Any ideas on how to get around this?
