I have been going over everything that I can to get this to work. At
one time I was able to connect to my other computer on my home network.
I have a Linksys wireless router and it is connected to a pannaway modem
rgn-210 which also acts as a router. So on top of having a static IP
address the pannaway modem is set to its default 192.168.1.1 and the
linksys is set to 192.168.2.1. When I hover over my VNC icon it shows
the address that the linksys router set for the computer on each
computer respectively. But yet when I try to connect I get "connection
timed out" message. If I type in the router assigned address and put a
comma then the actual static ip address I get the error message "The
requested name is valid and was found in the database, but it does not
have the correct associated data being resolved for. (11004)"
Example 192.168.1.100,sta.tic.ip.add
Is there something that I am missing or need to check or change. Thanks
