Meta, Alt, Super: key mapping problems

   The problem with this attempt is that for my keyboard (de_CH),
   "Alt_R" fails. On my physical keyboard it is named AltGr and
   xmodmap doesn't recognise Alt_R for me (and maybe Hendrik too).
   
If your keyboard doesn't generate Alt_R then delete all the lines
that mention Alt_R. Same for Super and probably Meta. Start xev
outside vnc to see what your keyboard generates and then start it
inside vnc and compare.

The suggested xmodmap script works perfectly for me, because I
kind of statically remap my US windows 104 keyboard. I let the
Alt keys generate Meta, the windows keys Alt and the menu key
Super. 

[I am missing of course a left menu key - I am stuck with having
only Super_R and lacking Super_L, but for the moment I can deal
with it.]
