VNC Linux newbie

I have looked through the documentation section, and I have not seen any
documentation related to Installing and running VNC Server on a Linux
box. I need a GUI interface to my Linux servers, and have used VNC for
similar items in windows. Can someone point me to documentation for
doing this in Linux?
