I do wait for a long time before connecting; but I am still not able to figure out how to eliminate the error ...no cause and no way to look.

Lim,
When the machine first comes up, try waiting a five minutes or so before
connecting. Windows quite often gets into a strange state where it takes a
very long time to start services when booting.
