Black Loading screen

I'm not sure what 2 suggestions didn't work for you, as you have not 
included them in this email trail.
Does this situation occur immediately after a reboot? If not, then it 
may be very likely that Remote Desktop (RDP) or Fast User Switching 
(FUS) is also being used on the PC in question. VNC is not compatible 
with these XP features. Doing a search on the mail list for FUS and/or 
RDP will yield many results.
