RealVNC is not the solution you are looking for...If you really want to get
cool, use vnc "single click".
(with a little work) It allows your friend just to run one exe and allow you
full control over his system. You will get prompted to accept his
connection. You will then be able to control his system.
You will need to setup a dynamic dns (dyndns.org) client (for your side) if
you have a dynamic ip address and you will have to open a port in your
firewall. But your buddy (or whoever) will not have to change their
firewall at all.

Subject: Reverse VNC
Dear Forum members
I suspect this is a simple question.
I want to install a copy of VNC on a friends PC with the purpose of helping
him configure his system. He doesn't have a Static IP address so my
intention is for him to initiate a reverse VNC session.
My question is, he has a firewall monitoring outgoing traffic, what (if any)
configuration cahanges do I need to make to allow VNC to connect to my PC.
Thanks in anticipation.
Les W
