After Auth. PW - Network Error: Could not connect to server: ip:5901

I am using the java applet in both Firefox and IE 6. At home I can connect
in the network from my XP to Linux and use it fine.

>From work I can connect to MyIP:5801 and enter my Auth PW as normal, but
then I receive a screen that says Network Error: Could not connect to
server: MyIP:5901 with a button to login again.

I tried to search the arcives and the net for help, but found nothing on
this. Sorry if I missed it.

Any suggestions/ideas on how to get around this?
