vnc just hates me

T think we'll need a bit more info.  What's your setup (network config,
client & server OS and VNC versions) and what errors are you getting?

As a few suggestions:
 - make sure you have a working network connection between the client &
   server - try pinging the server from the client.
 - make sure the server is running - check the icon is showing in the
   taskbar.
 - make sure there's no firewall in the way - try telnetting from the
   client to the server port, you should get and RFB message in
   response.
