Newbie needs help

First of all, I would like to thank the quick reply and the good will.
However, the problem is still there.
Now I get a different error message "connection closed unexpectedly", this
happens every time I retry.
Any other ideas?
All suggestions are welcome and will be enacted.

  You should only need to do this on the server.

  Open up the Firewall applet (Control Panel > Windows Firewall). Go to
  the Exceptions tab. Click "Add Program", then browse to your VNC server
  executable. Click OK, then OK. Things should work dandy after that.
