Windows XP <-> Suse10.0 Linux oddity

how about allowing the port on which VNCServer is listening for
connections in your firewall on SuSE?

Hello,
 
I just installed VNC on my XP and Linux boxes at home.  I started a
server on both.  I was able to view my XP box from my linux box, but I
was not able to view my Linux box from my XP box.  When I attempted to
connect through the IP address (the same way i did to the XP box), I got
a timeout error -- it wasn't able to talk to the linux box.  Any ideas?
