VNC for Dummies

Is there such a thing as "VNC for Dummies"?  The longer I try, the more I
think

I need such a book!  I have 15 computers in 5 different locations, and I can
not

get any of them to work with the VNC!  They are all behind Linksys routers
and

I have all of the port forwarding done, and still nothing works. All of the
machines 

are running XP Home and XP Pro.  All have the Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet

Security program for Anti Virus and Firewall security.  I am stumped!  Any
info

or help is greatly appreciated. While I am no expert (obviously), I am a
moderate

user. I still think that book would be a great idea for some writer to do!
