vncviewer and xkbd/rosetta

Hi there,

I just compiled vncviewer for my HP iPaq hx4700, since I have been
unable to find any other existing VNC client for the ARM architecture
that doesn't depend on OPIE libraries. It runs quite well - only it
doesn't respond to any keyboard events produced by either xkbd, the
on-screen keyboard app, or rosetta, the popular handwriting recognition
app. The UI widgets themselves respond fine to those apps, allowing me
to enter the password to connect, but the main window displaying the
remote desktop does not transmit any keystrokes.

I currently don't have any other way of inputting keystrokes on my iPaq,
so I can't test whether vncviewer will respond to, say, kbdd, the daemon
that generates keystrokes from external keyboards.

I'm just wondering if anyone here would have an idea why vncviewer is
ignoring keystrokes produced by xkbd and rosetta, so I don't have to
wander aimlessly in the source code. :)

Thanks a lot,
Paul
