There have been reports that even when it's supposedly "disabled" that it's
still blocking. Have him put in an exception for port (I think) 5500 as well
as the standard ports, 5800 and 5900.

Subject: Issues connecting
I have been using VNC for a while now using the "Listening Mode" to connect
to users in other states. I've been doing this so that we don't have to
worry about firewalls, etc. I have really had no problems doing this.
However, I have one of the people who is working for us that I am having
trouble connecting with.
I have VNC running in service mode on my computer, and He puts his computer
in Listening mode. He tells me his WAN IP address, and type it in, but he
never sees my screen. I have done this lots of times with our other
customers, and I have always been able to see their screens. He has Norton
Security running, but I believe that he's disabled it, but still has
problems. What other problems could there be?
Thanks,
Jesse
