I could imagine that VNC is faster for certain speciality uses, e.g. with 
embedded devices.  However, to remotely work on a modern PC, I doubt that 
there are any real world examples where VNC is anywhere near as fast as NX, 
especially when bandwidth is limited.  If I'm wrong, please let me know.
