Server license key is missing, invalid or has expired

I'm running VNC Server Personal Edition 4.1.3 on my home laptop.  When I try
to connect to it, I get the following message:

 

Server license key is missing, invalid or has expired.  Visit
http://www.realvnc.com <http://www.realvnc.com/>  to purchase a license.  Do
you wish to attempt to reconnect to [laptop]?

 

As stated, this is Personal Edition, so I was under the impression that this
was free and I did not need a license key.
