Hello,

  for some reasons I changed the logon type for the vnc service (Win XP, SP2) from "local service" to "Administrator".

  After that, I still can enter authentication information when connecting with a client, but after pressing enter I get something like "connection was rejected from undefined reason".

  The event log shows:
  1.Connections: accepted: 192.168.2.154::2310
  2. Connections: closed: 192.168.2.154::2310 (unable to switch into input desktop)

  Any clues what I might do ?

  Best regards,

  Joe

  PS: I cannot let VNC run under "local service" because the antimalware application thinks vnc is malware and blocks it (so I denied pemissions to vnc files for local-service so that anitmalware app cannot access these files anymore).
