Socket Manager: unknown listener event: 0

I have installed latest version of VNC on two computers on my home network
(1 computer (runs VNC viewer) wired to Draytek router, other wireless
connected (runs VNC server).

When using VNC viewer I get message 'The connection closed unexpectedly. Do
you wish to attempt to reconnect to ..')

Event Viewer on the wireless computer shows entry 'Socket manager: unknown
listener event: 0'

 

I have tried connection with firewalls on both computers disabled: same
result.

I have defined open ports 5800 .. 5900, TCP and UDP, on router

I have redirected public port 5900 (TCP and UDP) to port 5900 on the IP
address of the wireless computer

 

What else can I do?
