Can server connect when nobody logged on

had a brilliant idea -
stay logged on at the server, just "lock workstation"
- the tray icon might still be accessible.

but it's no good, -connect still got "Unable to locate existing 
VNC Server" (on NT40 and NT51)

will do a free trial of Enterprise version.
