swapping Alt and "Command" keys for OSXvnc with Linux vncviewer client

I'm using OSXvnc 1.61 on a Powerbook running 10.4.2, with VNC viewer  
for X version 4.0 on Linux , Fedora Core 4.

How do I unswap Command and Alt on my Kinesis Maxim keyboard when  
using the VNC client on Linux?  The keys work fine when the keyboard  
is directly connected to the Powerbook, but Alt  and Command are  
swapped when using VNC.

I've tried adding the options

-keyboardLoading Y -pressModsForKeys Y

when I start OSXvnc, but it didn't help.

I've read all the FAQs I could find, and searched the mailing lists.   
I see a reference to a "-RemapKeys" option in the manual page for  
Xvnc, but OSXvnc doesn't seem to support this option.
