Have to correct this...
UltraVnc 101 now uses a black background, and leave the monitor on.
It will display the mouse, but not whats directly under it :-)
And guess what i'm using right now to write this mail...
It has vnc itself, file transfer, chat, screen scaling, and many more good
options.
The only problem: it's not always stable on 5+ connections.

Hi Lorin,
No, there's no way to do that at present. Several VNC-based projects do try
to provide such functionality, but do so by repeatedly engaging monitor
power-saving, which means the graphics card switching on and off repeatedly
while the system is in use and therefore isn't advisable!
