Using Eclipse over VNC4: missing icons

I get the same effect using the NetBeans IDE if the VNC client
"negotiates" down to a lower color depth. If I then go into my viewer
settings, uncheck "Auto select", and choose Full color level, I see all
the icons when the screen redraws. Does this work for you?
