logout the gnome-session

When I use vncviewer connect to a remote linux host and start a  
gnome-session,can somebody do someting on the gnome , that ,, as I select 
"logout" from the launch menu , not only exit the gnome-session but also 
kill the VNC server?  It does the thing that  "vncserver - kill :n"  does ,I 
think it may be perfect.
