vncviewer problem

hi...

i had managed to accept the connection after typing vncviewer <my pc's ip 
address> at the terminal.

however the problem which arised is that there will be multiple browsers 
that appear subsequently stating that "the remote user has been connected 
and authenticated..."

may i know how to resolve the multiple browsers from appearing whereby only 
one is supposed to be viewed only. what is the possibilities of this 
problem? Plz help since i m new in this under the Linux OS.
