Help needed to VNC from Windows to my Linux Desktop

are you thinking that you actually want to remote control the active
session on the linux machine? In this case you need to set up for
remoting the console. there should be doc on the real vnc site for
doing this. otherwise im not quite sure whats going on with what you
are trying to do.
