Yes, mine dies after 1 hour. I even put 9999999 in for idle time, but it doesn't seem to pay attention. Maybe I should upgrade to v4.1...

You might check the user mode settings>connection>disconnect idle clients. Specifically:
start>realvnc>vnc server 4 (user-mode)>configure user mode settings> connections
Mine is at default of 3600 seconds. Is yours dieing after an hour?

VNC4.0 Viewer dies after a while
Hi all,
I noticed the VNC4.0 viewer goes away if I do nothing with it after a while. I read somewhere it may not like the remote screensaver
coming on? I have Windows 2000. We are not allowed/able to disable the screensaver. Is that the problem, and are there work-arounds?
