Hi all,
after using vnc 3.3.7 for several years to remote administrate a WinNT
box from my linux systems, I decided to upgrade the WinNT 4.0 SP3 box to
vnc server 4.1.1. My hope was that the 4.0 protocol speeds up the remote
access. The installation was successful but after a remote connect to
the box did not work I found out, that the vnc service don't start. The
windows eventlog show entries
SocketManager:Unable to select on listener: (10022)
Does anyone use vnc 4.1.1 server on WinNT? Does anyone know a solution
for this error? The vnc source code shows that the error is reported in
the addListener method of the SocketManager class. According to MSDN the
10022 is reported when a invalid argument is supplied. Is it possible to
activate some sort of traceing in vnc server to find out what's going
wrong?
Thanks for your help,
Klaus
