http://www.whatismyip.com and find out what your external IP is and then try
again using that IP.

also, you don't give any details on what O/S, revision, etc you are using.
Also, what about firewalls (hardware and software)?

I just converted from a dynamic ip address dsl service to a static ip
address
dsl service on the VNC server end. I was able to connect to the server
previously, just had to check the new ip address every time I reconnectd to
the internet. Now, I can't seem to connect to the vnc server. I get a
message
that it is timing out on the connection.

On the vnc server, when I was on a dynamic connection, I would hover over
the
VNC server helper icon in the sys tray to get the address. Now with the
static
ip, when I hover over the icon, it doesn't show the ip address.

Does anyone have an suggestions on how to et my connection working again?

Thank you,

Mike Minor
