And yet another black screen

Hello.

I have RealVNC 4 installed on XP as a service at work.

I have tested the connection from a colleques machine and it works fine.

At home, I have Suse Linux 9.2 (kernel 2.6) and connect to my company's network using Apani's VPN client. I am able to access our systems using ssh but I am getting a black screen and a disconnect after maybe a minute.

After searching the archives, I made the only change that seemed to apply. I lowered the MTU/MRU to 1430 (from the default 1500).

I am still getting a black screen and a disconnect after maybe a minute.

Is there any more information I can give to help solve this problem?
