Get a copy of ATTACKER.EXE over at www.foundstone.com from the resources
link.
You can set it to monitor the VNC Server port. It will play a .wav file
and alert you to a connection on that port. Of course it will initially
block the connection until you STOP the program and your tech will need
to try to connect a second time to actually connect, you'll also have to
stop and start the program before and after each connection, but at
least you'll know if this person is trying to connect...
Just 1 idea...

My suggestion is this: Disable any new clients when you're there in the
office and tell him that "during normal business hours, you call and ask
me to re-enable VNC. After hours, you will just connect." We have a
similar situation here with our Fraud Prevention department -- the head
of the department disables VNC when she's in the office and re-enables
it when she leaves for the day in case she needs to access her PC from
the VPN.

I had to install VNC server on my office computer because one of
the
tech needed a 24 hour acces to it. But i just realized today that
he
can access my computer without me ever knowing. Being
an
administrator, this is a problem for me because he could
potentially
see some confidential document while i am working on them.
I cant just select the option that would request a permission from
me
before he can connect simply because i am not in front of my
computer
24h/day. Is there a way to just be warned when he connects to
my
computer, without me needing to answer before he can connect?
Tks!
P.S. Sorry if i made any mistake, english is only my
secondary
language.
