QueryConnect equivalent for X server?

After some direct feedback from Corni Beerse, I found that "x0vncserver
--help" lists a QueryConnect option which defaults to 0.  However
testing setting it to 1 didn't appear to make any difference, and its
use in the UNIX source code is minimal so I guess it's just a cross over
from the shared Windows code base.

Is my understanding that there's no such support in any of the X servers
correct?
