Can you, please, be more specific?
I was searching in the site and not found anything, except "... VNC Viewer 4 supports loading and saving of .vnc files, containing a set of connection options. Although the format of .vnc files saved with VNC Viewer 4 ..." in http://www.realvnc.com/v4/winvncviewer.html page.

Please read the online documentation for VNC 4.0.

VNC 4.0 is specifically designed to be backward compatible with earlier VNC
releases.
